A Love Letter to the Past: The Rare "Near Colourless" Antique Pear Cluster (c. 1910–1920)

This is a beautiful transition-era, Old European and single-cut diamond ring.

🔬 The Science of the "Old Glow"

The soul of this ring lies in its Old European and Single Cut diamonds, hand-carved by artisans over a century ago.

The Physics of Dispersion: Unlike modern Round Brilliants designed for "brilliance" (white light return), these stones feature a smaller table and a higher crown.

The Spectral Shift: This specific geometry maximizes Dispersion—the scientific process of splitting white light into its spectral rainbow "Fire."

The Artisanship: These diamonds were engineered to perform in low-intensity light (candlelight), creating a deep, prismatic flash that modern machine-cut diamonds cannot replicate.

💎 Why This is a Reputable Find

The H-I Curation: Whilst many antique diamonds from this era carry a warm tint, this is a fact-checked, matched cluster in the crisp H-I (Near Colourless) range.

The Transition Metals: Crafted in 18ct Yellow Gold with an 18ct White Gold head. This represents the birth of white gold as a high-fashion metal (commercialised c. 1915), providing a factual "circa" timeline for the piece.

The Integrity Check: One diamond features a natural carbon pinpoint (SI1-I1). This is a "thumbprint of nature" that was only confirmed upon professional appraisal. Because of this single inclusion, I am able to offer a full 1.00ct of rare H-I colour antique diamonds at a significantly accessible price point. The larger culets and H-I tone make this inclusion very difficult to spot with the naked eye (video is zoomed in)

⚖️ The Equity Equation

My mission is for my collectors to hold pieces with genuine equity. By maintaining a relentless search for quality, I can offer this at a significant fraction of its replacement value.
